Every time I traveled with my dog, the same sinking feeling would set in: how am I supposed to carry my belongings in that tiny pocket on the side of his carrier? Without fail, my carry-on items would end up stuffed into the same space as my dog, leaving him crammed and uncomfortable. It always broke my heart to see him squeezed into half the room he deserved, but I didn’t see another option.

I tried every combination—carrying an extra tote for my things, shoving everything into the seat pocket in front of me, but none of it worked. Every time I boarded a plane, it was the same struggle. I'd have to put my tote in the overhead bin, leaving me without my book, water bottle, wallet, or phone at arm’s reach. The trip felt chaotic, as I juggled between keeping my dog safe and managing my own needs.

I started asking myself, why wasn’t there a better way? I searched high and low, bought pet carrier after pet carrier, but nothing solved the problem. My dog was still uncomfortable, and I still felt unprepared. That’s when the idea for Toben hit me: if the perfect pet carrier didn’t exist, I would create it myself.

I set out to design a carrier that would finally solve these travel challenges—a bag that could do it all. I didn’t want to compromise. I needed something that would give me the freedom to travel comfortably while ensuring my dog’s safety and comfort. After countless hours of designing, testing, and refining, Toben was born: a pet carrier that blends practicality, style, and function for both pets and their humans.

Toben is more than just a bag. It’s the solution to the stressful, disorganized way we’ve been forced to travel with our pets. Every zipper, pocket, and feature was designed with intention, to make sure your pet stays safe and comfortable while you keep everything you need within reach.
